According to transfer specialist , Barcelona are waiting for Wijnaldum to make a decision on his future.
Previous reports suggested the 30-year-old would sign for the Spanish giants on a free transfer.
But that move appears to be in doubt as PSG have offered to double his pay.
Both clubs are believed to be offering Wijnaldum a three-year contract, with the LaLiga team said to be preparing a medical.
The midfielder is understood to prefer a move to Spain and work under Dutch legend and Barca manager Ronald Koeman.
But the Ligue 1 side are allegedly complicating matters by offering him more than €150,000-a-week.
