Donnarumma has enjoyed a remarkable start to his professional career at the seven-time European champions.
He made an astonishing 251 appearances in all competitions for Milan - despite being just 22.
The Italian goalkeeper made his debut in 2016 as a 16-year-old, winning the Italian Super Cup that year.
But he hasn't won a major honour at the club and is yet to play in the Champions League, which may have persuaded him to jump ship.
Milan finished second in Serie A this season, 12 points behind champions and local rivals Inter.
