MASON GREENWOOD has been tipped to be named as the man of the match ahead of Manchester United's Europa League final against Villarreal in Gdansk.
Stadium operators at PGE Arena Gdansk picked the 19-year-old forward as the star performer during screen tests for Wednesday night's clash.
Greenwood is in great form having fired in six goals in his last eight Premier League games.
His recent dazzling displays have seen him be included in Gareth Southgate's 33-man provisional England squad for Euro 2020.
Red Devils fans are hoping that it is a good omen for them that Greenwood was named by stadium operators as United look to win silverware for the first time since lifting the Europa League in 2017.
Taking to social media to share the image of the teenager, PA's Simon Peach : "Stadium operators are testing the screens and tipping Mason Greenwood for a big night."
Supporters were quick to comment, as one said: "As if you needed any more #inspiration... here you go."
Another messaged: "It's written in the stars."
A third added: "They better not jinx this s***."
Meanwhile another simply stated: "Make it happen Mason Greenwood."

One then posted: "StarBoy is ready to takeover #MUFC."
Southgate waxed lyrical over the youngster when explaining why the forward has been included in his squad, as he addressed the Iceland incident from last year.
He declared: "In terms of the past, that's absolutely the past. I spoke with Mason before we selected him for the Under-21s in March to make that clear.
"I hope his inclusion on this provisional list shows we're happy to select him, when young people make mistakes we move on from it, it was the same with Phil [Foden].
'He's an absolutely outstanding finisher, there's no question of that. He's another very young player, his all-round game is still coming together.
"But he's clearly got an exceptional talent for finishing and that's why we picked him in September."
