Juventus boss speaks out over ongoing Paul Pogba and Gonzalo Higuain transfer sagas

Duo could move this summer for a combined staggering fee of £180m

JUVENTUS manager Massimiliano Allegri has spoken out over the ongoing transfer sagas of duo Paul Pogba and Gonzalo Higuain.

Midfielder Pogba has been lined up with a world record move to Manchester United whilst Higuain is closing in on a astonishing £79 million move to the Old Lady.

But speaking after Juventus' 2-1 victory over Tottenham on Wednesday, Allegri laughed when questioned about the transfer fees of both players.

"I don't assign prices to players. The transfer market decides. That's just how it is.

"Each player has a value, some low, some high."

Jose Mourinho is attempting to land Pogba for a fee believed to be in the region of £105 million but the move has been put on hold with the player's agent, Mino Raiola, demanding a huge £25m in agent fees.

Manchester United are willing to pay their share but Juventus and standing firm over Raiola's demands.

Juventus could use the funds generated by Pogba's sale to match Higuain's release clause - a cool £79m.

The Napoli striker looks set for a switch to their Serie A rivals and although they are reluctant to let the Argentinean leave, they would be powerless to resist if Juventus were to match the asking price.

Higuain was in prolific form last season bagging 36 goals in 35 league starts.

The duo have been the ongoing transfer sagas of the summer but speculation over their futures could finally come to an end in the coming days.
