James Rodriguez reveals huge bid but vows to fight for his place at Real Madrid
Chelsea and Manchester City have both shown interest in the Colombian
JAMES RODRIGUEZ has revealed that Real Madrid have received an offer in the region of £70million for his signature.
The Colombian's future at the Bernabeu has been thrown into doubt after losing a regular place in Zinedine Zidane's starting XI.
Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham have all been linked with the 25-year-old who started 17 La Liga matches last season.
And Rodriguez has admitted that at least one team has made a serious bid for him but he is determined to stay and fight for his place at the European champions.
"I know that the club received an €85m bid for me, but I'm not leaving."
The news will come as a blow to the trio of Premier League sides closely monitoring his situation.
Madrid boss Zidane added fuel to the fire earlier this week describing Rodriguez's position in the side as "complicated" due to his squad size.
"The idea with James is the same as with everyone else - he's a Real Madrid player.
"I'm not going to tell you that James is a starter. He's an important player. We'll see what happens this year, I have a big squad and it's complicated."
