Bundesliga side Wolfsburg open doors to the public – to allow people to build their Pokemon collection
WOLFSBURG have offered the public a unique opportunity to roam around their pitch – in order to catch Pokemon.
As the Pokemon Go craze continues worldwide, people of all ages were squandered in their attempts to catch the Pokemon when they couldn’t enter the Volkswagen Arena.
To address the apparent stressful issue, the Bundesliga side have opened the stadium gates for eight days to allow ‘Pokemon hunting tours’ where fans of the smartphone game can continue building their collection.
And supporters have not been holding back with people getting comfortable in the dugouts as they launch their Pokeballs.
The latest game has handed the chance for people to relive their childhood and even footballers have got in on the action.
Antoine Griezmann is reportedly hooked, as is prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after Borussia Dortmund player Marcel Schmelzer tweeted a photo of his teammates glued to their screens.
It remains to be seen whether Aubameyang, who is linked with a transfer to Arsenal, will make the six hour round-trip to Wolfsburg to catch a Pokemon.
