, Plea wants to leave the German giants this summer and, with only one year left on his current deal, will be available for a relatively low price.

Gladbach paid £21m for the player back in 2018 when he arrived from Nice, having previously been linked with a move to Arsenal.

At the time there were also reports linking Plea with both West Ham and Tottenham.

It is believed Arsenal are concerned about losing star strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer.

It is believed Solskjaer's first-choice signing is Erling Haaland, but reports claim the Red Devils cannot afford to purchase the Norweigan star.
