BORUSSIA DORTMUND have joined the race to sign Andre Silva as a replacement for Erling Haaland, according to reports.
The Bundesliga giants face a battle to keep hold of their superstar striker this summer.
And report they are preparing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s in-form Silva should Haaland go.
The 25-year-old has an impressive 24 goals in 28 appearances this season and would be available for around £35million.
He is tied down at Eintracht until 2023 and his contract has no release clause.
Nearing his prime, the forward could help replace some of the goals lost in the absence of Haaland.
Agent Hendrik Schauerte told : "Of course, at the current time of the season, the speculation will not decrease, we are not guided by that.
"Andre is totally focused and wants to secure the Champions League places with Eintracht."
Frankfurt are currently third in the Bundesliga and could secure Champions League football next season - at the expense of Dortmund.
And that would only hurt Die Schwarzgelben's chances of landing Silva even more because they already face plenty of competition for him.
