David Moyes flies to Jordan to share coaching tips with national team backroom staff
DAVID MOYES has shared his coaching tips with Jordan's national team's backroom staff.
The former Manchester United manager flew out to the Middle East to help out the Jordan FA by holding consultative coaching panels.
He told the: "There is now a bigger understanding of football in this part of the world, and football in Jordan and Asia is growing.

"But it's more important to have good coaches and good education in Jordan, it's also important to work on the mentality of players.
"They need to learn how hard they need to work in order to become professionals. You need good coaches with good leadership, and facilities to support the development as well."
The former Everton boss, who is without a job after being sacked by Real Sociedad in November, also encouraged Jordan to following Iceland's example of dreaming big after the Nordic country made it to the quarter-finals at Euro 2016.
He added: "Look at Iceland and the size of the country and its population and how they did at the Euros, maybe in Jordan you can have a model similar. And therefore you need to have a plan and a vision for 10 to 20 years ahead.
"It's also very important to develop the women's football and female coaches."

Stuart Gelling, Jordan FA technical director, thanked Moyes for taking time out to share his knowledge with Jordan's coaches and praised him as a "very humble coach".
He said: "We need to create our own unique Jordanian identity and work hard on developing our players and coaches.
