Arsenal risk losing Alexandre Lacazette with Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid set for transfer battle over striker
ATLETICO MADRID, Roma and Sevilla are interested in Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.
The Frenchman is set to enter the final year of his contract in North London.
And the Gunners may face a difficult decision in the summer.
According to , Roma and Sevilla have joined long-term admirers Atletico Madrid in the race to sign the talented forward.
Lacazette, 29, has kept his options open, and would be able to negotiate with clubs abroad from next January.
But manager Mikel Arteta hopes to keep the influential striker.
The Spaniard, 39, said: "I'm hoping that a player under contract will continue with us."
Talks, however, are surprisingly yet to get underway.
Lacazette is a big character in the Arsenal dressing room, and has captained the side at times in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's absences this season.
The Gunners' No9 has scored 13 goals in 34 appearances this term, and recently scored the winner in the North London derby against Tottenham.

In total, Lacazette has managed 61 goals and 28 assists in 161 outings since joining Arsenal from Lyon in 2017.
Should he leave Emirates Stadium, the Gunners may look to bring in his former Lyon team-mate Nabil Fekir from Real Betis.
And Arteta also hopes to keep Martin Odegaard for another year, with the Real Madrid loanee having impressed so far in an Arsenal shirt.
