LUCAS DIGNE was presented as a Barcelona player — but had half of his face covered in plaster.
The Frenchman underwent surgery for a broken nose after sealing move from Paris Saint-Germain.
While it appears he also had aesthetic work done, by having his ears pinned back, according to reports in Catalan daily, .
When asked about the nose op, he explained: “I had two fractures and I had to be operated on in order to be able to breathe.”
Digne, 22, moved to Barca for £14million and admitted it was a dream-come-true to make the switch to the Nou Camp.
He said: “Barcelona is the biggest club in the world and this is a great day for me.
“When I was younger, I told my father I would one day play for Barcelona.
“I am happy to have achieved this. I am very proud.”

Digne revealed he found out about Barca’s interest just before Euro 2016— and was determined to ensure the move happened.
He added: “I heard about Barcelona’s interest before the Euros started. From this moment, I had no doubt I needed to move to Barcelona in order to progress.
“I spoke to Mathieu and with other French players.
“I shared this with Umtiti and spoke with several members of the club.”
Digne is likely to compete with Jordi Alba for a starting place— admits he is a fan of his left-back rival.
He said: “He is a modern player, who I greatly admire and I have seen many of his matches.
“We all want to play, but to be a starter doesn’t just depend on me.”
