BESIKTAS are plotting a raid for Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany.
According to Fanatik, officials for the Turkish giants are writing up a contract for the Belgian defender with a view to completing a deal within the week.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman is monitoring the situation after meetings between the two clubs have taken place.
And the club are confident they can secure a £25million deal for Kompany.
However, matching Kompany's £130,00-a-week wages could prove to be a problem for the club.

Kompany struggled with injuries last season and missed Belgium's Euro 2016 campaign.
The defender was last seen on the pitch against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final but limped off in the defeat.
