Barcelona Transfer News: PSG ace Lucas Digne has completed surprise £16.5million Nou Camp switch
French left-back has signed five-year deal and join compatriot Samuel Umtiti in Luis Enrique's new-look side next season
BARCELONA have completed a surprise deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain ace Lucas Digne.
The Spanish giants tied up a deal for Lyon centre-back Samuel Umtiti, and have now added compatriot Digne to their squad.
Luis Enrique has been searching for a new left-back to give Jordi Alba some much-needed competition, with Chelsea star Cesar Azpilicueta linked in recent times.
But Antonio Conte has made it clear he will not part ways with the versatile full-back, and it now appears that Digne will be the man for the Spanish champions.
It’s claimed a fee worth £16.5million has been agreed for the 22-year-old, who spent the last season on loan at Roma.
And Digne has penned a five-year contract ahead of an official presentation to fans and media on Thursday.
