SO there we have it, the European Championships are over for another four years and it's Portugal who are the surprise victors.
Amid all of the obvious take-aways from the tournament in France, there is one that will be of interest to Premier League supporters.
The English top flight was far and away the most well-represented league at Euro 2016 - with 100 players used, streets ahead of the second-best Bundesliga with 53.
However, no Premier League team was better represented than Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham.
A whopping 11 Spurs stars saw playing time during the month in France - with nine of those starting at least three matches for their respective nation.
They combined for an incredible 3,374 minutes on the French turf - top of the Prem and second in the entire world only to Juventus, who racked up a remarkable 4,871 minutes.
Spurs' numbers swelled heavily by France's run to final, as No1 keeper Hugo Lloris played all 90 minutes every one of Les Bleus' matches - for 630 minutes.
Meanwhile, England - despite only making the second round - saw big minutes from players such as Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Eric Dier and Harry Kane.
