Euro 2016: The moment charged-up Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo accidentally hits team-mate Adrien Silva on the bench
CRISTIANO RONALDO lasted just 25 minutes in the Euro 2016 final before injury forced him off.
But that didn't stop him reacting to every ball on the sidelines as Portugal created history by beating France 1-0.
At one stage, the charged up Portugal captain accidentally hit team-mate Adrien Silva on the bench with such force it provided a truly hilarious moment (watch video below).
Ronaldo was taken off on a stretcher after a couple of heavy tackles but, with his leg strapped up, was still following every kick from the sidelines, and it was even revealed today that he gave an inspirational team talk at half-time.
Southampton man Cedric Soares said: "In half-time, Cristiano had fantastic words for us. He gave us a lot of confidence and said ‘listen people, I’m sure we will win, so stay together and fight for it.’
