Jesse Lingard hints he could STAY at West Ham after Man Utd loanee is the hero in win over Tottenham
JESSE LINGARD has hinted he could STAY at West Ham after scoring in their win over Tottenham.
Lingard has been a revelation since his loan move from Manchester United and has not ruled out an extended stay with David Moyes' in-form side.
The attacker put one over former United boss Jose Mourinho with the crucial second goal in the Hammers' 2-1 win over Spurs.
Lingard told BBC Sport: “It is brilliant, the lads have taken to me. I have settled in really quickly.
"I am playing each game with a smile and enjoying my football and that is the most important thing.
“Everyone has the same mindset and goal for the end of the season and the same targets.
"We don't look at the table too much and will take it game by game but this is an enjoyable position to be in.”
Lingard had fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and jumped at the chance to move to West Ham in the January transfer window.
