EMANUELE GIACCHERINI'S agent has said it would be "a dream" to reunite with Antonio Conte at Chelsea.
The former Italy manager will take over at Stamford Bridge next week, after a week's holiday following the Azzurri's exit from Euro 2016.
Giaccherini, 31, flopped at Sunderland but was a key player as Italy got to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, before losing on penalties to favourites Germany.
Giaccherini spent last season on loan at Bologna.
Agent Furio Valcareggi told : "If Chelsea were to call, Chelsea would be a dream."
Giaccherini has been linked with a return to Bologna, as well as fellow Serie A sides Torino and Fiorentina.
He added: "Unfortunately we don't [have an agreement with Torino]. There has been contact and interest.
"Torino have taken note of the costs and how the transfer would have to be done, and now they are considering it.
"But this also applies to Fiorentina and Bologna, who are gathering information before moving on."
Giaccherini moved to Sunderland from Juventus for £6.5million in 2013 but started just 18 Premier League matches in two seasons.
