RING-MOAN

Gary Neville wants Jamie Carragher’s ‘yelp’ as his new ring tone after Liverpool keeper Alisson’s blunders vs Man City

The Reds keeper suffered a calamitous mix-up with defender Fabinho before then gifting the ball to City which led to Gundogan netting his and City's second goal.

And Neville reveled in Carragher's dismay as he instantly called him out for his reaction.

Speaking about the hilarious moan by his colleague, Neville said: "You may have heard Carragher yelp, and he's on his knees next to me here!

"That noise will be my ringtone for the next week. Can you do it again?"

Alisson then went on to make another horrendous blunder just three minutes later.

The Brazilian shot-stopper, who has been so reliable for Jurgen Klopp's men since joining in 2018, gave possession away in an identical way to moments earlier, before Bernardo Silva's chip was headed home by Raheem Sterling.

Alisson's two major errors effectively killed the game, with man of the match Phil Foden adding insult to injury seven minutes from time with a stunning fourth goal.

The victory for City means they are now ten points clear of Liverpool with a game in hand.
