Reports in Germany suggest playmaker is getting a bumper deal at Old Trafford
HENRIKH MKHITARYAN'S wages will be TREBLED at Manchester United, according to reports in Germany.
The Armenian, 27, is close to completing a move to Old Trafford after intense negotiations between the club and Borussia Dortmund.
Mkhitaryan, who scored 19 goals and added 24 assists last season, is expected to complete a move to Old Trafford this week after Dortmund announced on Saturday that he would be leaving.
Jose Mourinho has moved quickly to strengthen his squad with the Portuguese expected to mount a challenge at the Premier League title next season.
Mkhitaryan will become the third player to arrive at Old Trafford this summer, with Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic already on the way.

German newspaper report that Mkhitaryan is expected to receive a bumper new salary of €12.5million - which works out to approximately £200,000-a-week.
That is almost three times the amount he earned in yellow, where his salary is reported to have been around €4.5m annually.
Not only will Mkhitaryan receive a huge increase in salary, the paper reports that Manchester United are to throw in an eye-watering signing-on bonus of €8m (approx. £6.5m).
The fee for the forward is unconfirmed but has been reported as being somewhere in the £25m-£30m mark.
