Chelsea confirm Michy Batshuayi deal as Antonio Conte beats Tottenham and West Ham to target
Belgian international striker agrees a five-year deal to move to Stamford Bridge from Ligue 1 outfit Marseille
CHELSEA have confirmed their £33million capture of Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Belgian international has signed a five-year contract with the Blues.
He joins team-mates Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi, 22, said: "I am delighted to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe and embark on the next chapter in my career. I hope I can help Chelsea win many trophies during my time at Stamford Bridge.
"Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois have told me many good things about the club, and with Antonio Conte coming in it's an exciting time to become a Chelsea player.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for myself and my family, I am looking forward to playing in the Premier League next season."
Batshuayi came off the bench to score in the 4-0 rout of Hungary in the last 16 of Euro 2016.
It was his third goal in six games for his country as he moved ahead of Christian Benteke in the pecking order.
But the super sub could not repeat the feat as Belgium were dumped out of the tournament with a 3-1 defeat against Wales.
