NEYMAR has dashed Manchester United's hopes of signing him by agreeing to a five-year extension at Barcelona.
The Brazil forward, 24, committed his future to the Nou Camp club on Thursday until 2021.
NN Consultoria, the agency representing the striker, said in a statement: "The athlete, along with his family, has decided to stay with FC Barcelona and will renew his contract for five more years.
"The contract will be formalised this week. The decision puts an end to speculation about the star's future."
Neymar posted a picture of himself in a Barcelona shirt to celebrate his new deal, captioning the post: "Very happy to continue living that dream."
United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid had all been linked with last season's 31-goal attacker.
Neymar's previous contract was due to expire in 2018.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu had already stated the former Santos ace was close to signing a new contract.
