Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic signing all-but guarantees Jose Mourinho the title

Swedish superstar has been crowned top flight champ an incredible 13 times in 15 seasons at six different clubs

THEY say you cannot buy the title – but nobody has told that to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s last six clubs.

Since leaving Malmo in his native Sweden in 2001, the towering striker has won the top division 13 times.

And new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho  is no slouch either, who has been crowned champ eight times in his managerial career.

Ibrahimovic decided it was time for a new challenge after winning Ligue 1 four times in a row with Paris Saint-Germain.

And Mourinho decided to swoop and land the veteran on a one-year deal.

PSG finished second in the 2011-12 season, bought the strike sensation to end their woes, and never looked back.

Ibra, 34, made a mockery of claims he was past his best by plundering 38 league goals last season to take his tally to 113 in 122 games for PSG.

And such form added yet another trophy to his growing cabinet.

Jose Mourinho is no stranger to a league title

If he can win the Premier League, Ibra will add to his two Eredivisie titles, six Serie As (although two with Juventus were revoked), a La Liga and four Ligue 1 gongs.

What better way to get over the disappointment of seeing Sweden crashing out of Euro 2016 before retiring from international football.
