New Old Trafford manager thought to be aiming to stall imminent Nou Camp deal, according to reports

JOSE MOURINHO has launched an "all-out offensive" to bring Neymar to Manchester United, according to reports.

The Old Trafford manager is said to have given the go-ahead to the audacious bid in order to stall the Brazil superstar's plan to sign a new Barcelona deal.

Mundo Deportivo claim ex-Real Madrid boss Mourinho wants Neymar "at all costs".

However, they also report that Barca's lawyers have acted quickly to make one third of MSN put pen to paper on a mega-money new contract.

They intend to have it finalised by Friday.

Neymar's father recently said his son will not be on the move this summer.

SunSport told you last year how United hierarchy had discussed with Nou Camp chiefs the possibility of a colossal £240million move.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward visited Barcelona twice in three months to lay the groundwork for a transfer, but it never materialised.

Paris-Saint Germain and Manchester City are also thought to be open to talks.

Neymar's agent Wagner Ribeiro boasted: "There are three big clubs in the world who want to hire Neymar and pay the clause of €200million to Barcelona."

This latest claim comes as it was alleged Lionel Messi "does not like" Neymar's ego.

However, midfielder Ivan Rakitic poured water on those suggestions, saying the two, along with Luis Suarez, are "best friends in the world".
