Arsenal fans love it as Kieran Tierney warms-up in shorts and T-shirt despite freezing weather at snowy Hawthorns
ARSENAL fans were hailing Kieran Tierney as ‘a different breed’... even before his stunner put West Brom to the sword.
The Gunners travelled to the Hawthorns in arctic conditions looking to stretch their winning run to three games.
And fortunataly Scotland international Tierney seemed totally undeterred by the baltic weather.
Players on both sides were wrapped up tight in hats, gloves, leggings and snoods for the warm-up.
However, the 23-year-old left-back opted for just his shorts and a T-shirt as he prepared for the game.
And Arsenal fans loved it as they quickly took to Twitter after spotting him in the warm-up.
One wrote: “Cool as a cucumber and twice as crunchy what a legend.”
Another tweeted: “Tierney a different breed.”
A fellow fan commented: “Must feel like summer for him.”
While another Gooner said: “This guy is mad.”
He then lashed in with his unfavoured right foot in the 23rd minutes to get the Gunners off to a flyer.

“The players were wrapped up in several layers — all except one. Kieran Tierney was in a short-sleeved T-shirt, oblivious to the bitter weather.
“To add to this image of a player with absolute focus, the Scotland international had an almost manic look of determination in his eyes.
“Then the game started and Tierney quickly made a crunching challenge on a Brighton & Hove Albion player. Stuart Pearce, another left back, came to mind and I thought: ‘Here is the Scottish Psycho.’
Boss Mikel Arteta heaped praise on his left-back after his stunning performance against the Baggies helped lift Arsenal to 11th.
He said: "He has been fantastic since I have been here, the moment he got back from his shoulder injury he has been terrific he is a lad who gives everything and brings great energy.
"I am so happy we were able to achieve the target we had, the table looks completely different, the energy is different and wins bring confidence.
