Mario Gomez to West Ham: Germany striker linked with move to Hammers with Slaven Bilic tracking

WEST HAM are linked with a move for Germany striker Mario Gomez, according to reports in Turkey.
The Hammers have been linked with a number of different strikers this summer as they seek to build on an impressive debut season under Slaven Bilic.
The East End club finished seventh but were held back by the lack of a top class striker.
West Ham's top scorer was Dimitri Payet - the midfielder scoring 12 goals.
Andy Carroll was the top scoring striker in the squad but he managed only nine goals.
According to , Bilic has been keeping a keen eye on Gomez during Euro 2016 - the striker starred on loan for Bilic's former club Beskitas in the Turkish Super Lig last season.
Gomez scored 26 goals in 31 matches as the club won the Turkish title.

Bilic, who is working in France for ITV, is said to be tracking Gomez, who has been on loan from Fiorentina.
Besiktas have already agreed a deal for the 30-year-old, but West Ham would be able to pay more.
West Ham have previously been linked with moves for Michy Batshuayi and Alexandre Lacazette.
