ROY HODGSON was spotted laughing and joking as he led the England squad leaving their hotel this morning following their humiliating Euro 2016 exit.
Hodgson, who quit as national team boss in disgrace after the woeful 2-1 defeat to minnows Iceland, was first on to the coach as the players left their luxurious team hotel in Nice.
But supporters will be left fuming that the Three Lions boss was able find anything to smile about just hours after England's failure in France.
The former Inter and Fulham boss is now facing retirement after he flopped at a major international tournament for the second time in two years.
But that didn't seem to faze hapless Hodgson who looked anything but heartbroken as he prepared to fly back home.
His smirking will not go down well with England fans already seething after Liverpool star Adam Lallana was pictured laughing and joking with friends straight after the defeat last night.
