AFTER a lifetime of looking after his body, John Arne Riise thought he'd try a beer for the first time following his recent retirement.
But the former Liverpool and Fulham left-back, 35, wasn't too impressed when egged on to sample his first tipple by wife Louise Angelica.
The Norwegian wasn't too taken with the unfamiliar drink, reacting immediately to the bitter taste to laughter from Louise and a friend.
Riise was enjoying his retirement at a party when he decided to try it out for the first time after having spent a lifetime of discipline and intensive training while playing for top-level clubs.
He wrote on his instagram: "Tried beer for the first time ???????? Not for me thank you!"
He had an illustrious career which included starring in Liverpool's comeback against Milan in the 2005 Champions League final.
