Republic of Ireland coach Roy Keane launches himself into the air to celebrate Euro 2016 goal against France

Ex-Manchester United man could not contain his joy after Robbie Brady converted a penalty after just two minutes

ROY KEANE did his best Tim Peake impression when Republic of Ireland scored, launching himself into space in wild celebration.

Manager Martin O’Neill is famed for his spring-footed celebrations but assistant Keane has now stepped it up a gear and reached for the sky after Robbie Brady’s opener.

The Irish grabbed a goal from the penalty spot after outplaying the feted hosts in the first half.

It took just two minutes for Manchester United’s £80m transfer target Paul Pogba to clumsily haul down the relentless Shane Long.

And Norwich ace Brady thumped the ball against the inside of the post and in with his trusty left boot.

Keane, usually famed for his deadpan and cantankerous approach to life, could not contain his joy as he left through the air with all the grace of a ballerina.

And the internet went mad for the high-flying former Manchester United man.
