Arsenal stars David Luiz and Dani Ceballos’ training ground scuffle sparked by midfielder giving youngsters a hard time

DAVID LUIZ and Dani Ceballos were forced to apologise to their Arsenal team-mates — after being involved in a training-ground scuffle.

It is understood Ceballos had been giving younger players a hard time, so defender Rob Holding asked him to lay off.

Spanish ace Ceballos was left with a cut on his face from the Brazilian after they squared up last Friday at the club’s London Colney HQ.

Other players quickly jumped in to stop it getting out of hand.

SunSport understands the Gunners are relaxed about the clash.

They believe it happens at training grounds across the country.

Luiz and Ceballos took the heat out of the issue at training on Tuesday by apologising to the rest of the squad. It is now the second time this season that on-loan Real Madrid ace Ceballos, 24, has become involved in a heated exchange with a team-mate.

He also squared up to striker Eddie Nketiah at Craven Cottage, while the two substitutes were warming up on the pitch ahead of the 3-0 Premier League win at Fulham in September.

Though they would have preferred to keep the matter under wraps, it is thought Arsenal are still comfortable nothing over the top happened.
There is a feeling that things can easily spill over in training.
