Chelsea star Diego Costa in constant contact with Atletico Madrid and will stop at nothing for Diego Simeone reunion
Disgruntled Blues striker desperate to leave Stamford Bridge and return to Spain as former side prepare new summer bid
DIEGO COSTA is going do whatever it takes to re-join Atletico Madrid from Chelsea, according to reports.
The Spaniard’s Stamford Bridge future is up in the air after a poor second season in West London.
Costa scored just 12 goals in 28 Premier League appearances, as the Blues put up a dismal defence of their title and he is believed to be focused on securing a return to the Vicente Calderon.
Whether new boss Antonio Conte will let him leave remains to be seen, but claims Costa will stop at nothing to link up with Diego Simeone for a second time.
It’s reported that Atletico failed with a £32million bid for Costa in the January window, but Roman Abramovich had no intention of selling him midway through the campaign.
However, Chelsea are now interested in landing Juventus’ Alvaro Morata once he re-signs for Real Madrid and Costa is ready to take advantage by forcing through his own transfer.
