MANCHESTER CITY risk missing out on top target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
The La Liga giants look to be closing in on the £65million Borussia Dortmund striker, 27.
According to , the club have made contact with both Aubameyang's agent and father in a bid to lure him to Madrid.
Diego Simeone is desperate to bolster his side's fire-power and the 36-goal Gabon forward is seen as the perfect fit to partner Antoinne Griezmann and Fernando Torres up front.
Atletico face a transfer ban spanning until 2017 and so could be forced to meet Dortmund's staggering asking-price.

Aubameyang is contracted at Dortmund until 2020.
