IF there's one thing we've learnt from this summer's European Championships in France, it's that the BBC and ITV need to step up their broadcasting game.
Big-name pundits, in-depth analysis and on-screen technology all seems great, right?
That is, until you see how the French are doing things...
In case you've missed it, a national broadcaster has taken to beaming HOLOGRAMS into the studio, so it seems like the interviewee is really there.
Last night, following the France v Switzerland game, pundit David Ginola interviewed the hologram of national boss Didier Deschamps - and it was incredible.
Long story short, we never realised how much our boys had been coasting through this punditry lark...
I mean, can you imagine having Roy Hodgson beamed in to join Ian Wright and Co in the studio after England's clash with Slovakia tonight?

Probably not. But you can bet your bottom dollar the French will have a crack at it.
But that's not even the best bit.
Holograms are one thing, but other visual treats were nothing short of pure sorcery.
In one particularly eye-rubbing moment, the presenter on French TV took a stroll over the the big screen within the studio.
Nothing particularly odd about that, I mean, news anchors are doing that all the time, usually sporting some kind of tablet or giant phone.
But then, what followed, was magic, witchcraft, sorcery - whatever you want to call it.
She stepped from the studio, seemingly onto the Stade Pierre-Mauroy turf in Lille.
So while travelling through time still may baffle the smartest minds on the planet, travelling through space has clearly been cracked... By French TV of all people.
