Colin Murray posts hilarious video of ex-Manchester United midfielder making the most of an incredible night in Lyon

NORTHERN IRELAND had a superb day both on an off the pitch on Thursday.

After completing a famous 2-0 win over Ukraine in their Group C showdown, the fans took to the streets to celebrate in style.

And TalkSPORT host Colin Murray was on hand to bring the party to the world, by tweeting some hilarious posts, pictures and videos of the street bash.

Most notably is a clip of former Manchester United midfielder Keith Gillespie, 41, crowd-surfing down a Lyon street.

Lifted aloft, Gillespie is passed down the street, while adoring fans chant: "Keith Gillespie, Keith Gillespie, Keith Gillespie."

But that's not the only thing the Northern Irish fans got up to last night, as Murray was quick to show.

He posts another video of fans - including Gillespie belting out: "We're gonna win the group, we're gonna win the group. And Germany don't believe us, and Germany don't believe us. And Germany don't believe us, we're gonna win the group."

Murray later posted a snap of him downing a massive amount of local box wine, while singing: "Don't take me home."

No Northern Ireland party would be finished without a rousing rendition of 'Will Grigg's on Fire' either, and the fans made sure they took care of that.

In what looked like an epic night in Lyon, Murray rounded things off by posting a bed-time snap, of himself curled up in bed, with his Grigg T-shirt on, hugging a traffic cone.

He captioned the snap: "Best night ever. Sleep tight."

I'd be surprised if Messrs Murray and Gillespie didn't have sore heads in the morning, but I'm sure it was worth it.
