Robert Lewandowski latest: Bayern Munich star open to Premier League deal as Real Madrid move becomes tricky

Poland striker had wanted to move to the Bernabeu but knows one of their three attackers would have to leave Los Blancos first

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI is desperate to leave Bayern Munich and open to a Premier League move, according to reports.

The Poland striker had been linked with a mega money move to Real Madrid this summer, but the 42-goal striker has realised that one of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema must leave the Bernabeu for that move to happen.

According to the , Lewandowski remains in talks with Bayern over a new deal to remain in Germany but is listening to alternative offers.

The striker scored 42 goals in 51 matches under Pep Guardiola last season and Manchester City could be one destination for the Pole.

Liverpool would have been a strong favourite to sign Lewandowski - if they had qualified for the Champions League.

The striker is a boyhood Reds fan and would welcome a reunion with former manager Jurgen Klopp, the man who took him from obscurity at Lech Poznan to stardom.

Lewandowski faces several of his Bayern team-mates when Poland play Germany on Thursday evening.

He said: "For me, Germany are the favourites for the whole tournament, but anything can happen. We have to stay calm and be confident against them.

"No fear, no stress, but we also need to have some fun. They know me very well, but we all know each other well."
