Best free agent XI that Premier League clubs can still snap up including Mario Gotze, Daniel Sturridge and Jack Wilshere
AFTER a hectic deadline day, the Premier League transfer window is finally over.
All major transfers are now done for the season, until January at least.
However, clubs can still bring in a free agent at any time during the campaign.
With that in mind, we've taken a look at the best XI of players still available for absolutely nothing, including a World Cup winner and Premier League champion.
GOALKEEPER - Orjan Nyland
THE Norwegian goalkeeper had his contract terminated by mutual consent this week.
Nyland slipped behind Tom Heaton and Emiliano Martinez in the pecking order - and was arguably also below Jed Steer.
RIGHT-BACK - Nathaniel Clyne
THE injury-prone ex-England star has been without a club since being released by Liverpool at the end of last season.
Clyne was linked with a move back to Crystal Palace - but as yet no one has made a move for the right-back.
CENTRE-BACK - Ezequiel Garay
THE former Real Madrid star was released by Valencia after a four-year stint at the end of last season.
The 33-year-old Argentina international has previously played for Benfica and Zenit in Europe.
CENTRE-BACK - Adrian Mariappa
THE London-born Jamaica international has heaps of Premier League experience.
Mariappa has played for Crystal Palace and Reading, as well as two stints at Watford, with the Hornets letting him go this summer.
LEFT-BACK - Pape Souare
ANOTHER former Eagles star, Souare has been without a club since leaving Troyes in the summer.
Prior to that, the Senegal international had spent four years at Selhurst Park having joined from Lille.

CENTRE-MID - Hatem Ben Arfa
THE former Newcastle midfielder has bounced around in recent seasons - with mixed results.
After thriving at Nice, Ben Arfa signed for Paris Saint-Germain, before joining Rennes after just two seasons.
The Frenchman was a free agent for half of last season before signing a six-month deal with Real Valladolid in January, before being released again.
CENTRE-MID - Jack Wilshere
ON deadline day, it was revealed West Ham and Wilshere had parted ways.
Wilshere had his £100,000-a-week contract terminated by mutual consent after failing to prove himself at the London Stadium.
Once again, Wilshere has struggled for consistency down to his recurring injury problems.
RIGHT-WING - Daniel Sturridge
THE former Liverpool striker has been a free agent since being let go by Turkish side Trabzonspor in March.
Ex-England star Sturridge, 31, had been on the radar of Sheffield United - but they opted to bring in Rhian Brewster instead.
Most-recently, Sturridge was seen training with eighth-tier Kidsgrove Athletic in a bid to stay fit.
ATTACKING MID - Mario Gotze
AFTER scoring the winning goal in the 2014 World Cup final, things haven't quite gone to plan for Gotze.
The attacking midfielder rejoined Borussia Dortmund from Bayern Munich in 2016, but was struck down by a muscular disorder called myopathy.
After playing just 15 times for Dortmund last season, Gotze was released in the summer.
LEFT-WING - Danny Welbeck
WELBECK has been allowed to leave Watford on a free transfer - just a year after joining, with the club unable to afford his £100,000-a-week wages following their relegation.
Welbeck, 29, had a strong end to the season after recovering from a hamstring injury sustained in October and will now hope to secure a return to the Premier League.

STRIKER - Mario Mandzukic
HAVING left Juventus at the end of the 2018-19 season, Mandzukic scored a big-money move to Qatari side Al-Duhail.
But after just ten games and two goals, Mandzukic was released and is now available on a free aged 34.
