Euro 2016: Russia handed ‘suspended disqualification’ over crowd violence against England
Russian fans stormed the England section at the final whistle, mercilessly attacking helpless supporters in Marseille
UEFA have confirmed that Russia have been handed a 'suspended disqualification' from Euro 2016 following fan violence during the England game on Saturday.
At full time of the 1-1 draw in Marseille, Russian fans stormed the England fan section, mercilessly beating helpless Three Lions fans.
And now, one more incident like that, and Russia will be sent home from the tournament in France.
That would hand England - as well as Slovakia and Wales - '3-0 victories' in their bid to reach the last-16.
The Russian football federation was also slapped with a £120,000 fine for the incident inside Marseille's Stade Velodrome.

Now, groups of hardcore Russian fans face being deported from France after their antics both inside and outside the stadium.
The so-called 'suspended disqualification' however only relates to their brutality inside the Stade Velodrome - as that falls under the jurisdiction of Uefa.
The governing body has claimed that any similar incidents from Russian supporters will result in the punishment being imposed.
Russia will therefore be sent home giving Roy Hodgson's Three Lions, Chris Coleman's Wales and Jan Kozak's Slovakia a great chance to progress.
