Ronald Koeman blasted as a hypocrite by former Southampton star Artur Boruc for Everton move
Bournemouth keeper lashes out as Koeman ditches Saints for the money of Merseyside
FORMER Southampton goalkeeper Artur Boruc has accused Ronald Koeman of hyprocrisy after he quit the club to become Everton manager.
Koeman today signed a three-year deal to take over at Goodison Park after deciding Saints were unable to provide the finances to match his ambition.
Instead he will be able to invest heavily in signing new players on Merseyside using the mega-money provided by the club’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.
But Boruc, joined Southampton from Fiorentina in 2012, took to social media to slam the Dutchman for his lack of loyalty.
And he dragged up a quote Koeman is alleged to have said on Sky’s Monday Night Football just three months ago where he said he would hate to be someone who switches clubs for money.
After his appointment as Everton boss was announced, Koeman said: “I am very excited to be Everton manager. I believe in the Club, in the team, in the fans and in our ability to achieve things in the future.
“Everton is a club with a great history and real ambition and it is a proud feeling for me to be part of what we want to go and do, together with the Chairman and Farhad Moshiri.

“I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the Club and to preparing for a big season in the Premier League.”
Boruc, now playing for south coast rivals Bournemouth, is currently away with the Poland squad competing in Euro 2016.
Southampton are now looking around for a new boss having been surprised at the way Koeman performed a U-turn having initially committed his future to the club.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe is regarded highly by Saints, while former Ajax manager Ronald De Boer is also a leading candidate for the role.
