MANCHESTER CITY'S £60million pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could rest on the shoulders of a little-known Ukrainian teenager.
Boss Pep Guardiola has been targeting Russian side FC Ufa’s 19-year-old midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko, who has been called up by his country for Euro 2016.
But the highly-rated teenager is also a target of Dortmund and they are now ready to ask City to stand aside if they want to seal a deal for Aubameyang.
Zinchenko became the youngster goalscorer in Ukraine's history at the end of May when he netted in a 4-3 win over Romania.
He broke former AC Milan and Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko’s 20-year-old record.
Shevchenko found the net in a friendly against Turkey in May 1996 when he was 19 years and 214 days while Zinchenko was 19 years and 165 days.
