Seamus Coleman launches X-rated blast at Kieran Gibbs branding him ‘f***ing hardman’ after red card in West Brom defeat

SEAMUS COLEMAN was left fuming with Kieran Gibbs after the West Brom defender's reaction to being sent off on Saturday.

The Colombian bumped into his opponent in first-half stoppage time of the weekend's goalfest, with Everton 2-1 up at the time thanks to a James strike.

In retaliation, Gibbs connected with Rodriguez's face and was promptly dismissed.

With no fans in the ground, pitchside microphones were able to pick up Coleman's sharp reprisal of his opposite number.

As he exits the pitch, Gibbs, 30, can be heard saying: "F*** him, I'll do it again."

That sparks a furious reaction from Toffees star Coleman.

The 31-year-old interjects: "No you won't do it again.

"Who you talking to, you’ll do it again? Hard man. F***ing hard man."

Everton fans were overjoyed to see Coleman stand up for his team-mates during their 5-2 win.

I let the team and supporters down with a moment of stupidity. I should not have reacted and for that I apologise.

Twitter user Dave wrote: "Our captain."

Patrick added: "As if we needed another reason to love Seamus."

While Declan tweeted: "Gibbs shut his mouth and lost eye contact fairly quickly, you love to see it."

The incident also sent Slaven Bilic into a rage, the West Brom boss earning his own red card after accosting referee Mike Dean at half-time.

As the teams walked off, he shouted: "Check the foul for us and the red card. Next time kills us."

Dean told Bilic to “go away" but he responded: “Next time kills us. You can also kill us."

After West Brom's second defeat of the season, despite equalising after Gibbs' dismissal, the defender apologised for his red card.

He tweeted: "I take full responsibility for today’s game.
