Liverpool ready to land £10million Piotr Zielinski after Pole turns down Napoli
Jurgen Klopp phones midfielder in bid to seal deal for 22-year-old who's told friends he's looking for 'a licence to thrill'
LIVERPOOL have moved into pole position to sign Udinese's £10 million-rated midfielder Piotr Zielinski.
The Polish star has caught the eye of a string of top European clubs, especially Napoli.
But the player who has spent the past two seasons out on loan at Empoli appears to favour a move to the Premier League.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed as much when he revealed that he's negotiated 'every detail' with Udinese's owners for Zielinski, but added:
"Instead it now seems as if the player is doing everything possible to resist the move and not come here. He wants Liverpool."

The news will be music to the ears of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who is supposedly interested in signing multiple midfielders this summer after losing faith fin the likes of James Milner, Emre Can and Lucas Leiva.
Klopp spoke to the 22-year-old on the phone to reassure him he would have an important role to play at Anfield next season - and beyond.
Zielinski is a central midfielder often used in attacking positions. He has the vision and ability to supply an accurate pass in the final third.
His speed and dribbling ability is especially eye-catching and Udinese insiders say he is looking 'for a licence to thrill' the Anfield faithful.
