Paul Pogba is in talks over a potential move to Real Madrid but discussions are stalling as the Frenchman's agent demands more money, according to reports.

Reputed Sky Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio, claims Mino Raiola met with Los Blancos director Jose Angel Sanchez in Monaco to negotiate a potential deal.

Real Madrid are reported to have started negotiations by offering £135,000-a-week.

But Raiola — who also represents Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Mario Balotelli — wants nearer £200,000 for the in-demand 23-year-old.

The Spanish giants' president, Florentino Perez, likes to bring in at least one 'Galactico' every season, and appears set of making Pogba this summer's major piece of business.

Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has made bringing the Frenchman back to Old Trafford one of his principle objectives this summer.

And the player is open to a return to the club he left in 2012, but would prefer a move to Real Madrid, as the Red Devils cannot offer Champions League football next season.

Bernabeu boss, Zinedine Zidane, revealed his wants to bring Pogba to Spain, but admits he has competition.

He said: "Everyone wants Pogba because he is a great talent.

"But he is a Juventus player."

Pogba left United after he failed to break into the first team under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The legendary Scot later claimed he refused to do business with the midfielder's notorious agent, Raiola.

Since leaving Old Trafford, Pogba has firmly established himself as one of the leading midfielders in world football following his performances for Juventus and France.

He was imperious during the hosts' Euro 2016 opening-game victory against Romania.

Juventus are on the verge of finalising a deal for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

And the Bosnian's arrival could open the door for Pogba to make a sensational summer move away from Turin.
