Man Utd’s ‘Plan B’ if Jadon Sancho transfer fails that includes promoting youth as Dortmund star scores again
MANCHESTER UNITED have lined up a 'Plan B' should they fail in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho, according to reports.
Dortmund are adamant they will not budge on their £108million asking price with United refusing to stump up the fee in the current market.
That is despite reports personal terms, worth around £350,000-a-week, have been agreed between club and player.
Sancho, 20, has already hit the ground running this season by scoring from the spot in the 5-0 German Cup win over MSV Duisburg on Monday.

But boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is being forced to look elsewhere and has lined up a new transfer strategy to improve his squad this season.
Sky Sports claim that the Norwegian will look for a more experienced head to sign on loan while bringing in a youngster they can help develop.
Reporter James Cooper said: "United are looking at other alternatives and another strategy on top of that.
“This ‘Plan B’ would be looking for a more experienced head on loan coupled with a younger player learning the ropes as well.
“It would be someone who is not a risk as well as someone they can bring through.

“The deal isn’t dead but it’s certainly gloomy when you talk to anyone about Jadon Sancho.
“But Old Trafford are feeling pretty gloomy about this right now – it’s not going the way that Manchester United would like it to go.
“I think that’s because Borussia Dortmund are sticking to their guns with the sort of price they’re looking for Jadon Sancho."
Inter Milan's 31-year-old winger Ivan Perisic is the latest name to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
The Croatian, who won the Champions League on loan with Bayern Munich last season, has just a year left on his contract at the San Siro.
Juventus' Douglas Costa and Real Madrid's Gareth Bale are also on the shortlist.
The forward has penned a five-year deal at Old Trafford.
