West Ham preparing to launch massive summer bid to bring £20million-rated Lyon star Nabil Fekir to Olympic Stadium
Slaven Bilic wants versatile French forward to complete his attacking line-up for new Premier League season
WEST Ham boss Slaven Bilic is lining up a move for £20m-rated Lyon ace Nabil Fekir.
The Hammers are looking to bring in a star name ahead of their move to the Olympic Stadium this summer.
And Bilic is keen to land the 22-year-old French international - especially if they were to lose Dimitri Payet to a mega-bid.
Fekir’s stock is on the rise in his homeland after a number of top performances for Lyon.
The versatile forward was limited to just seven appearances last season after a knee ligament injury ruled him out for six months last September.
However, Fekir still managed to fire home four goals in his handful of matches and Bilic sees him as the perfect man to complement his free-flowing attack
The Hammers are also looking for a top-class forward to lead the line, with AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca the subject of a recent bid.
The Colombian’s agent was reportedly in London for talks with Irons chiefs but a deal is yet to be agreed.
The move for Bacca comes on the back of failed bids for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson and Fekir’s Lyon teammate Alexandre Lacazette, but more attacking talent could be heading to the capital this summer.
Former Chelsea winger Gokhan Tore is believed to be on his way to West Ham after agreeing a £12m switch from Turkish giants Besiktas.
Tore could even be handed the No.7 shirt by Bilic, with a move for Juventus ace Roberto Pereyra also on the cards.
The Argentine midfielder looks set to leave Turin in search of first-team football, but Stoke and Sunderland are also vying for his signature.
