Middlesbrough are ready to offer Martin Skrtel the chance to stay in the Premier League.
The Liverpool centre-back is set to leave Anfield this summer for £6million and has attracted foreign clubs.
But Aitor Karanka wants the 31-year-old to bolster Boro’s squad for the Premier League after promotion.
