After Borussia Dortmund's season came to an end, Sancho, 20, has enjoyed time off in Ibiza while United haggle over his future.

The Red Devils are said by to be increasingly confident of completing a deal.

Moving their interest away from Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, the club are reportedly alone in chasing Sancho this summer.

No official bid is said to have landed yet, with Dortmund demanding £109million, including £90m up front.

Borussia's pre-season starts on Monday and the Bundesliga side want Sancho's future decided by August 10, when the team heads to Switzerland for a training camp.

It is thought that United would prefer to negotiate a lower fee with the forward's contract expiring in 2022, although that factor is not said to be a worry for Dortmund.

Likewise, Sancho is described as "relaxed" over his future although personal terms will not be a problem should a fee be accepted.

Bagging an exceptional 20 goals and 20 assists last season, the Dortmund star left Manchester City in 2017.

Alternatively to Sancho, United are thought to be considering a longshot bid for Kingsley Coman.

Reports suggest Grealish is not on the Old Trafford side's agenda - despite the midfielder being described as uncertain over his future.

Villa would likely demand around £80m for their skipper after he helped Dean Smith's side secure a dramatic escape from relegation.
