Willian is Chelsea’s best player and should be offered three-year deal amid Arsenal transfer interest, says Souness
GRAEME SOUNESS reckons Chelsea should stump up a three-year deal to keep hold of their "best player" Willian.
It is understood that the Blues are only willing to offer an extra two years to the Brazilian winger - who looks set to leave for free this summer.
Boss Frank Lampard is reportedly hopeful of tying the highly-rated winger down for longer.

But the West London side have a policy of offering one year deals to players over 30, meaning Willian could be headed for the Stamford Bridge exit door at the end of the season.
Chelsea lost golden boy Eden Hazard to Real Madrid last summer - who was widely regarded as the club's best asset.
And Souness reckons the Blues would regret letting Willian slip through the cracks also.
He told Sky Sports: "I think he's their best player,
"He wants a three-year [deal], they've offered two. I'd be giving it to him.
"You watch him play, he doesn't look like a player to me whose legs are going anytime soon and he's got great qualities.
"So I would be bending over backwards to keep him at the football club."
Several clubs have been keeping tabs on the Blues ace - who has netted 37 goals and added 33 assists in 234 Premier League appearances.
Tottenham and Arsenal are thought to be keen on a swoop along with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

And Willian reportedly snubbed a three-year deal from David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
But Spurs has been touted as the most likely destination for the Brazilian with Jose Mourinho thought to be keen on luring him to North London.
The pair are believed to have had a warm relationship during the Special One's tenure at Chelsea and enjoyed Premier League title success together in 2014-15.
