The Italian hitman’s blistering season in Serie B has seen him linked with Napoli and Juventus.
And the Premier League title rivals are ready to join the hunt after sending scouts to Italy.
Lapadula, 26, has fired in 21 goals in the Italian second division to lead the goalscoring charts.
And Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani is open to a move. He said: “Our striker will only leave under certain conditions and only to an important team.
“If we do not get promoted then he is likely to leave.
"I have followed Juventus and Napoli’s interest closely, but we do not have an agreement in place with Juve.
“Moreover, the regulations of the transfer window are clear and up until May 16, nothing can be done.
“Leicester and Tottenham have been following him and their observers have been to Pescara several times.
“In Italy there is also Sampdoria, Genoa and Chievobut it must be stressed, he has a long contract with us.”
Pescara currently find themselves in seventh place in Serie B, while Lapadula has three years remaining on his current contract.
