West Ham’s Diafra Sakho lined up to replace Saido Berahino at West Brom
Albion wanted sign the player on loan in January but they were told the 26-year-old was not available
West Brom are preparing a summer move for unwanted West Ham striker Diafra Sakho.
Albion wanted sign the player on loan in January but they were told the 26-year-old was not available.
Now Pulis may return before next season with Saido Berahino set to leave Baggies.
Senegal forward Sakho posted a message containing an an expletive on social media site Snapchat last week - around the same time he was dropped from the starting line-up in favour of Andy Carroll.
He then withdrew himself from the whole squad on Friday saying he was injured.
If Hammers boss Slaven Bilic manages to sign Villa’s Jordan Ayew, Liverpool’s Christian Benteke, or Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony then Sakho will be allowed to go and Baggies boss Tony Pulis would be interested.
