Liverpool line up £25m Andriy Yarmolenko bid as Dynamo Kiev star reveals Premier League wish
Reds to rival Arsenal for Ukraine international, who has also been linked with rivals Everton
Liverpool are leading the race to sign Dynamo Kiev ace Andriy Yarmolenko, according to reports.
The Ukraine international has set his sights on a Premier League move and could end up at Anfield despite being linked with a transfer to Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger is apparently hopeful of luring Yarmolenko to north London, but Ukrainian paper Sport claims Liverpool are ready to pounce with a £25million bid.
Everton have also been linked with the 26-year-old as new investor Farhad Moshiri looks to make a statement in the market, but Yarmolenko now looks set for the red half of Merseyside.
Ukraine national boss Mykhaylo Fomenko has tipped his star player for a move to England, saying: “If he is wanted by the top English clubs then yes he can show his best in the Premier League and he must do this.”
And now Yarmolenko has confessed that he is keen to test himself in the world’s greatest league, revealing: “I cannot reveal many details but yes, I intend to move to England this year.”
