The leaks website also unveiled United’s new home and away kits for next term.

They also put out Chelsea’s new uniform, which bears a striking resemblance in style to the United one.

Most clubs will wait till after Euro 2016 to officially unveil their new shirts, shorts and socks for next term.

But in the day and age of smartphones and social media, it is getting harder for clubs to keep the big launch of their kits under wraps — all it takes is someone along the production line to take a snap and share it.

United have been a huge success for Adidas already, despite only being with the German sportswear brand for a year.

The ten-year £750million deal was signed last year and despite average results on the field for Louis van Gaal’s side.

But Adidas’ CEO Herbert Hainer criticised United’s on-field form, before it was revealed the club could take a 30 per cent hit if they fail to qualify for the Champions League two seasons on the bounce.

Adidas also released a t-shirt through United’s club store that said ‘duty to entertain’ in red writing — an irony that was all-too-well appreciated by the club’s fans.
